FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas assistant coach Matt Zimmerman has been reassigned as the program's director of basketball operations.
Zimmerman was replaced as a full-time assistant by Scotty Thurman last month. He replaces Jeff Daniels as the program's director of operations. Daniels was reassigned to director of student-athlete development, the title previously held by Thurman.
“This is an opportunity for us to take full advantage of the strengths we have within in our staff and restructure some duties,” Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson said in a statement. “We have talented individuals within our program and I’m looking forward to maximizing their potential moving forward.
