The widely publicized “Woo Pignic”, a huge recruiting weekend inviting a whole bunch of Arkansas’ top targets, got their first commit. Linebacker Zach Zimos told the coaching staff before this weekend that he planned to come to Fayetteville, but made it public this morning.
Zimos is a 3-star linebacker from Richmond, Texas. He picked the Hogs over offers from Missouri, Texas Tech, Cal, Houston, Purdue, and others. The staff had felt pretty confident about where they stood with Zimos for a while now but getting the word from him made this weekend all the better for them. He had previously committed to Cal, and after decommitting took visits to Fayetteville, Missouri, and Texas Tech.
