FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek said Wednesday that moving the Razorbacks' 2021 football game against Texas A&M to Fayetteville would likely have required an extension to the neutral-site agreement between the teams in Arlington, Texas.
The teams announced last week that their series would be moved back to AT&T Stadium next season if covid-19 conditions allow. Arkansas and Texas A&M are under contract to play in Arlington each season through 2024.
Yurachek had previously said he would request the 2021 game be played in Fayetteville if this year's game was moved to Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
