Razorbacks fans sent positively ear-splitting – and record-setting – noise echoing around Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium during last Saturday’s matchup against the Crimson Tide, as reported by Roland Liwag of ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
The crowd of 75,459 fans broke the 100-decibel threshold 43 times.
Some more noise notes:
* The average noise level during the game was 93 decibels, the loudest recorded at the stadium this year.
* Of the 43 times the sound level topped 100 decibels, 24 of those came in the first quarter.
