Arkansas felt no love from Missouri this Valentine’s Day.
The Tigers handed Jimmy Dykes’ Razorbacks women’s basketball team its worst loss in a month Sunday afternoon in Columbia, 69-48.
Arkansas (10-15, 5-7 in SEC) had a season-low 17 points at halftime and Missouri (20-6, 7-6) started the third quarter on a 7-2 mini-run to squash any hope of a comeback. The Razorbacks shot just 23 percent in the first half and trailed 42-17. Freshman guard Malica Monk was the only player with more than two points at the break.
Jordan Frericks had almost outscored Arkansas by herself in the opening 20 minutes.
