With first Penn State game scheduled, here are the remaining Power 5 teams never to play the Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is set to play Penn State for the first time next month at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla.

It will be the second consecutive bowl game for the Razorbacks that has included a first-time matchup. Arkansas lost 35-24 to Virginia Tech in the 2016 Belk Bowl in the only game between those teams.

With Penn State off the list, there will be 22 Power 5 teams yet to have played the Razorbacks. Five of those teams — Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State and Purdue — hail from the Big Ten.

Three other Big Ten teams — Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska Ohio State — have only played Arkansas in bowl games.
