Arkansas baseball has officially entered unfamiliar territory.
By surrendering eight unanswered runs and losing to Florida 9-5 on Sunday, the Razorbacks dropped their third straight SEC series — something they hadn’t done since 2016.
That was, of course, when Arkansas ended the year on a school-record 13-game losing streak and missed the NCAA Tournament for the only time during Dave Van Horn’s tenure.
Since that season, the Razorbacks have been the picture of consistency. They’re the winningest program in college baseball since 2017 and have won at least 18 SEC games each year, reaching the College World Series in three of the seven postseasons over that span.
