FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas running back Rawleigh Williams may miss the remainder of the 2015 season after undergoing surgery to repair a neck injury suffered in the Razorbacks' win over Auburn on Saturday.
Williams was injured on a run play in which he was grabbed by his face mask with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter. A crowd of more than 72,000 was in near complete silence while he was tended to on the field for 11 minutes, before being carted off and transported to a hospital for evaluation.
"He is expected to make a full recovery," Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema said.
