FAYETTEVILLE -- Sunday afternoon was the time for tears for Arkansas tailback Jonathan Williams and Coach Bret Bielema after a medical evaluation revealed Williams would need a screw placed in his injured left foot that would keep him out the entire regular season.
By Sunday night, Williams had refocused on his future and Bielema was of the opinion that Arkansas' offense is suited to push ahead without the team's 1,190-yard rusher.
Williams suffered the injury on a run over the right side of the line when a couple of defensive linemen landed on his foot during the second part of Saturday's scrimmage, Bielema said.
