FAYETTEVILLE — The ex-girlfriend of an Arkansas basketball player who told police he knocked her to the ground at a Fayetteville night club said Wednesday she does not plan to press charges.
According to a police report, Essence Singleton said she was pushed down by now-suspended Razorbacks forward Jacorey Williams at Lit Lounge on July 5. Two weeks later, a bouncer who stepped between Singleton and Williams that night told police Williams punched him in the face and knocked him unconscious.
Police reports on both incidents have been passed on to the Fayetteville prosecutor’s office.
In a message on social media, Singleton stated: “Jacorey and I are still friends and trying to put that night in the past.
