FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas sophomore pitcher Patrick Wicklander and a rehabbed Caleb Bolden combined to pitch eight scoreless innings and the Razorbacks hammered their way to a 10-1 win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday before 7,681 fans at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Jacob Nesbit had a double and two singles to lead Arkansas’ 12-hit attack while Brayden Webb had two of those. He and Matt Goodheart both hit first-inning homers for the Razorbacks (2-0).
Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn moved Nesbit up from No. 8 in the order to No. 6 for Saturday’s game against the Panthers (0-2).
