Running back Devwah Whaley has announced he has reopened his recruiting.
He was committed to Georgia.
Whaley, 6-0, 209 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Beaumont (Texas) Central is one of the more highly regarded prospects in the nation. Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings and running backs coach Jemal Signleton made an in-home visit with Whaley last Wednesday. Coach Bret Bielema is expected to to make an in-home visit this week.
ESPN rates him the No. 3 running back and No. 49 overall prospect in the nation.
He officially visited for the Mississippi State game.
