Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium can soon begin.
On Monday, the north end zone videoboard at the stadium was demolished, which will for the beginning of its $160 million expansion to the venue.
The expansion – which is expected to be completed by the start of the 2018 season – will include 4,800 new seats, suites, club/loge boxes and open standing room space. The renovation will also connect both the east and west stands of the stadium to each other.
The University of Arkansas board of trustees voted in favor of the $160 million upgrade in January, then voted to approve it in June.
