Korbe Otis hit a walk-off grand slam and the No. 2 Florida softball team forced a series rubber match with a 10-7 victory in 9 innings over No. 13 Arkansas on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla.
The game-winning homer to right field ended a wacky, back-and-forth matchup that lasted over 3 1/2 hours, had 4 lead changes and an ejection of Florida coach Tim Walton after a 23-minute protest delay in the eighth inning.
Florida (34-7, 7-4 SEC) snapped a two-game losing streak and defeated the Razorbacks in Gainesville for the first time since April 2019. Arkansas had won the previous five road games at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium.
