VIDEO: Matt Reynolds homers vs. Yankees in first MLB game in a month

Matt Reynolds' time away from Major League Baseball didn't hurt his swing.

Playing his first MLB game since July 3, the Mets' infielder hit a three-run home run off Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia in the sixth inning Monday. The hit gave the Mets a two-run lead.

The home run was measured at 404 feet and was the second of Reynolds' career. He made his MLB debut earlier this season after being drafted by the Mets in the second round in 2012.

Reynolds has played 28 games this season for the Mets. He was recalled from the organization's Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas earlier Monday.
