Arkansas running back target Devwah Whaley had an outstanding senior season with 1,701 yards and 23 touchdowns on 228 carries, but he sees room for improvement.
“Just trying to become a better back and improve my game all around,” Whaley said. “Just becoming the best back I can be."
Whaley, 6-0, 209 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Beaumont (Texas) Central, named the Hogs his leader after taking an official visit to Fayetteville over the weekend.
ESPN rates him the No. 3 running back and No. 49 overall prospect in the nation.
"I have pretty good vision, speed, strength, and I just play hard every snap,” Whaley said.
