FAYETTEVILLE — The Razorback Foundation has appointed its fifth executive director in a little more than three years.
Scott Varady will take over the position on Dec. 1, according to a news release. Varady has spent the last 19 years as general counsel for the University of Arkansas.
"Scott is a very positive addition to the Razorback Foundation," said Ken Mourton, Razorback Foundation board chairman. "He is certainly familiar with the Razorback Foundation after working closely with it on behalf of the university for many years."
Varady will replace Norm DeBriyn, who was named interim director of the foundation in July.
