FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas native and California transfer Connor Vanover is coming home to finish his college basketball career.
Vanover (7-3, 225) announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday. He also considered Vanderbilt.
“Excited for the next step in my journey to help me grow and fulfill my dreams,” Vanover said. “I am grateful and blessed to have the opportunity be an Arkansas Razorback. I'm Coming Home!! WPS!!"
Vanover will apply for a waiver in hopes of not having to sit out next season, but he has three years of eligibility left either way.
He scored more than 1,000 points, grabbed more than 700 rebounds and blocked 300-plus shots in his three seasons at Baptist Prep.
