The No. 2 Razorbacks bounced back in a loud way, pulling off a rare road sweep of No. 14 Vanderbilt capped by a 7-3 win Sunday afternoon at Hawkins Field in Nashville, Tenn.
“We just got beat,” the veteran coach bluntly told reporters after his team blew a 5-run lead in the ninth against the Bears on Tuesday night. “Whoopee. Move on.”
That message may not have sat well with some fans, but it landed where it mattered most.
