Arkansas hit the practice fields for the first time this week as it prepares for No. 1 LSU. A few notes from the open-viewing window:
• Arkansas’ defense worked primarily outside on the grass field while offensive players moved inside Walker Pavilion. John Chavis and defensive players went through their traditional position group drills then had class on grass with the 1s and 2s in the front seven.
• Razorbacks offensive players worked inside, and we were not allowed to watch them. KJ Jefferson, John Stephen Jones and Nick Starkel were indoors, and Ben Hicks ran with the scout team offense against the first-team defense.
