A recent phenomenon seen at Arkansas and elsewhere in college football are so-called “boomerang” transfers.
With the advent of the transfer portal, it is easier than ever for players to leave their school and seek greener pastures elsewhere. However, that has also led to some realizing that the grass isn’t always greener, prompting them to transfer again.
Every once in a while, that can lead them back to where they came from. Former Arkansas linebacker Jaheim Thomas sort of experienced that this past offseason.
After joining the Razorbacks as a transfer from Cincinnati and leading the team in tackles last season, Thomas opted to hit the portal again.
