Former Arkansas guard Jannero Pargo was hired as an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
Pargo, 39, had previously served as an assistant coach for the Windy City Bulls, Chicago's G-League affiliate, since September 2017.
He played for seven franchises in his 11-year NBA career and averaged 6.4 points, 2.0 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game.
“Jannero is an exceptional addition to our coaching staff,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said in a release. “He was a consummate professional as a player, and combined with his experience, will be able to build great relationships with our players.
