FAYETTEVILLE – Ricky Town spent eight months at USC and decided it wasn’t for him. He spent about a day at Arkansas and decided it was.
The former USC quarterback will be in Fayettville on Monday. Town is enrolled in classes and will join the team then. He will compete for the starting job in 2016 as a redshirt freshman. And it wouldn’t wholly surprise Arkansas coach Bret Bielema if one of the current quarterbacks on the roster transfers.
“Depending on how this whole thing plans out, who next year’s starter is whether we can keep all those quarterbacks we have on-campus here.
