Burks chose Arkansas over LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, and Michigan. Burks stated that the commitment of DT Marcus Miller, also of Warren, played a large role in his decision. He was also in attendance for the Woo Pignic, which led to the commitments of several other top recruits this past weekend.
