LITTLE ROCK - What was expected to be No. 18 Arkansas' second tune-up of the nonconference season turned into one of college football's biggest upsets of the season Saturday.
Toledo, a 21-point underdog, beat the Razorbacks 16-12 at War Memorial Stadium. The win was the first for the Rockets' over a Southeastern Conference program.
Arkansas lost a shocker on the same field where as a No. 8 ranked team it lost to 30.5-point underdog ULM three years ago to the week. The Razorbacks have lost five straight games to FBS opponents in Little Rock.
Toledo held Arkansas out of the end zone twice in the fourth quarter when the Razorbacks had a first-and-goal inside the 5-yard line.
