Day becomes the second former Razorback to accept a men's coaching job of late
Arkansas basketball’s all-time leading scorer has landed the head men’s basketball job at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, it was announced today.
The nine-year NBA veteran had spent the previous two seasons at Hamilton High School, his alma mater, in Memphis, but felt like he wanted to step outside the high school hoops scene.
According to Troy Schulte of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Day’s wife is from Little Rock, so the move was an easy decision. He first had to make some calls to make it happen – and he did.
