FAYETTEVILLE — The start time for Saturday’s baseball game between fifth-ranked Arkansas and Washington State has been changed to 1 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 2 p.m., but was moved up an hour in hopes the teams can play before worsening weather moves into Fayetteville late that afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 50% chance of rain after noon Saturday, with cloudy skies and a high of 56 degrees. Rain is expected to mix with snow and temperatures plummet later in the day.
This is the second alteration made to the Opening Weekend schedule.
