Thursday recruiting tidbits

One of the top playmaking offensive prospects in the nation plans to visit Arkansas next week.

Receiver Tyrie Cleveland, 6-3, 190, 4.32 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston Westfield said he'll visit Fayetteville next Wednesday. As reported last week, he said he was planning to visit the Hogs.

He showed excellent speed and quickness and the ability to make big plays at The Opening last week. He had 3 touchdown receptions and caught a two-point conversion in the 7-on-7 championship game.

Cleveland, who recorded 53 receptions for 1,109 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior, has more than 40 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Florida, Baylor and Texas A&M.
