FAYETTEVILLE — Alabama’s probability to defeat the Arkansas basketball team reached a 99.6% peak Saturday night according to ESPN analytics.
The percentage was at its maximum with 6:29 left in the game when Crimson Tide forward Mouhamed Dioubate made a layup to extend his team’s lead to 75-57.
Many fans headed for the exits with Alabama up by 18 points.
But from there, it was almost disaster for the Crimson Tide.
Arkansas (14-9, 3-7 SEC) nearly pulled off a Bud Walton Arena miracle, but its comeback attempt fell short in an 85-81 loss.
