COPPELL, Texas -- When Arkansas extended a scholarship offer to linebacker Baron Browning before his sophomore season, he wasn't sure if he was worthy.
Browning, 6-3, 229 of Kennedale, Texas, is now an elite prospect with more than 30 scholarship offers and is ESPN's No. 2 outside linebacker and No. 40 overall prospect.
Baylor was his first offer, but he said he was in denial. Then he attended an Oklahoma State camp and received his second offer.
"Then Oklahoma State offered me, and I said why in the world did they offer me?" Browning said. "I was horrible at their camp.
