FAYETTEVILLE — On a fairly regular basis throughout his Arkansas career, Treylon Burks has caught a touchdown pass on a deep ball.
But on Friday in the Razorbacks’ 34-17 victory over Missouri to cap the regular season, the star receiver — believe it or not — did something he had never done in a game before. After taking an end-around handoff from quarterback KJ Jefferson, Burks ran to the right side of the field and flipped an option pitch to freshman Raheim Sanders.
Sanders found the end zone from seven yards out to push Arkansas’ lead to 34-9 with 9:52 remaining.
