Texas roared back from down by as many as 14 points and took a 69-68 lead with 1:11 remaining behind its star freshman Tre Johnson. The expected 2025 NBA Draft lottery pick single-handedly led the comeback charge with clutch make after clutch make.
Things were headed toward a “white out” crowd leaving the arena with a gut punch.
