Two TCU defensive backs earned All-America status as announced by The Associated Press on Monday, three days before the Horned Frogs' scheduled Texas Bowl game against Arkansas in Houston.
Cornerback Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson and safety Trevon Moehrig were both named second-team AP All-Americans.
Hodges-Tomlinson and Moehrig were both voted first-team All-Big 12 selections by league coaches earlier this month, along with TCU linebacker Garret Wallow. Defensive lineman Khari Coleman was named Big 12 defensive co-freshman of the year by the coaches.
Wallow, a senior, leads the Horned Frogs with 90 tackles. He also has 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 5 hurries and 3 forced fumbles.
