This time last year, Sam Pittman felt like Arkansas had a good wide receiver in Andrew Armstrong.
What he had no way of knowing five months before the 2024 season, though, was that he’d emerge as the go-to guy for Taylen Green and put together one of the best single seasons by a receiver in UA history.
With Armstrong out of eligibility and heading to the NFL, the Razorbacks are once again in search of a No. 1 receiver.
“His senior year, to me, he mentally changed,” Pittman said. “He got the hell knocked out of him a few games, got back up, came back in as soon as he was cleared and had a 1,000-yard season.
