The Arkansas coach told his players exactly what to expect from the Friday night matchup between ace pitchers Blaine Knight and Casey Mize.
“I told them to expect it to be 2-1 or 3-2,” Van Horn said. “So it's pretty much what I thought.”
Knight gave Arkansas its fourth consecutive opening victory in an SEC series, out-dueling Auburn's Mize, 2-1, at Baum Stadium on Friday. Mize is considered the nation's top draft-eligible college pitcher.
