FAYETTEVILLE — It was dark under Memorial Stadium for the post-game interviews after Arkansas lost a 28-24 debacle to Missouri the day after Thanksgiving. Somehow it seemed appropriate.
After all, it was Black Friday everywhere across the country as shoppers scurried to get a head start on Christmas shopping.
The shopping version of black is a good thing. It's a day that does a lot to put merchants ahead for the year with one big shot.
This was a bad black for the Arkansas football team. Four years of gradual progress had been halted by a bad half, a really bad half.
