Earlier this spring, former Arkansas basketball star Moses Moody got shafted when the SEC Player of the Year award went to an Alabama player instead of Moody.
Both players played for Top 10 caliber teams. And it’s not that the Crimson Tide recipient, Herb Jones, wasn’t good. It’s just that he wasn’t on par statistically with what Moody had done up till point.
This kind of oversight wasn’t a surprise, especially in light of what happened months earlier in Arkansas football when Jonathan Marshall and Jalen Catalon were robbed of All-SEC honors and Auburn was gifted a win at Arkansas’ expense.
