South Carolina rallied from a 4-0 deficit to knock off the No. 10 Arkansas softball team 5-4 Saturday in the second game of their SEC series at Bogle Park.
The No. 11 Gamecocks evened the series at a game apiece heading into the series finale by jumping on Arkansas relief pitcher Cam Harrison in the top of the fifth inning.
With 2 runners on, South Carolina first baseman Arianna Rodi crushed a 1-0 Harrison pitch to straightaway center for a 3-run home run. It was the third consecutive hit against Harrison to open the inning following a pair of singles.
