As Hurricane Joaquin barrels through the Atlantic Ocean, it appears that it might swing away from the US and away from a landfall with the east coast. Which is a good thing if you’re a homeowner. However, if you’re playing a football game in that part of the country today, the effects of the hurricane will be felt from Miami, to Athens, Georgia, and even up into the Smoky Mountains. Knoxville is currently in a flash flood watch.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing for the Razorbacks. The Hogs are a team that butters its bread inside the tackles and with short throws into the flats.
