FAYETTEVILLE — Defensive back Myles Slusher is transferring.
Slusher, a native of Tulsa, made the announce in a post to his Twitter account on Sunday. It comes two days after he did not travel with Arkansas' football team for its regular-season finale against Missouri and three weeks after his arrest in connection to disorderly conduct.
“First, I would like to thank the University of Arkansas for everything,” Slusher wrote. “Helped me learn myself more than anything, especially overcoming adversity. I want to thank Coach (Barry) Odom for believing in me.
“With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal to find a new home.
