Arkansas first baseman Brady Slavens rounds third and heads for the plate Tuesday, May 11, 2021, to score on a double by center fielder Christian Franklin during the fifth inning against Arkansas State at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville.
Details were scarce, but the feeling was Arkansas first baseman Brady Slavens did not suffer a season-ending injury Wednesday night against Georgia.
Slavens was assisted off the field during the second inning when he turned his right ankle while stepping on first base to beat out a two-run single. He spent most of the Razorbacks’ 11-2 victory wearing a walking boot and holding crutches in the dugout.
