NEW YORK — The Arkansas men’s basketball team battled back from a 15-point first half deficit and built an 18-point lead in the second stanza.

At one point, it appeared that No. 14 Michigan was going to run away with the game. It then seemed the Razorbacks were running the Wolverines out of Madison Square Garden. In finality, the game came down to its last possessions in front of a constantly boisterous audience.

Trevon Brazile, the lone scholarship returner from last season’s disappointing finish, blocked Danny Wolf’s go-ahead layup and grabbed the defensive rebound in what became an 89-87 win on Tuesday.
