SEC coaches, teammates give updates on former Arkansas women's basketball players who transferred within league

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Four players who began last year a part of the Arkansas women’s basketball program have since transferred to other SEC schools.

Those players — Taliah Scott (Auburn), Samara Spencer (Tennessee), Maryam Dauda (South Carolina) and Jersey Wolfenbarger (LSU) — were part of a max exodus from the program. Another starter, Saylor Poffenbarger, transferred to Maryland.

Each of the players are expected to play key roles on their new team, and the four inter-SEC transfers were discussed some Wednesday at the league’s media day.

Wolfenbarger was the first to leave the Razorbacks, departing roughly two weeks before the 2023-24 season opener.
