Word leaked out a few weeks ago that Scotty Thruman was going to become an official assistant coach for the basketball program and now-former assistant Matt Zimmermann was going to be moved into an administrative role, and as of Wednesday, it's now official.
It wasn't a very well kept secret as Thurman has already been on the recruiting trail and had a hand in Arkansas landing recent signee Brachen Hazen.
This is the first time Mike Anderson's staff has changed since shortly after arriving at Missouri. Zimmermann had been his assistant for the last 14 seasons.
