Sam Pittman: RB Ja'Quinden Jackson 'ready to go' for Arkansas football vs. Texas

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman said Wednesday he expects running back Ja’Quinden Jackson to be fully healthy for the Razorbacks’ game Saturday against No. 3 Texas.

Jackson, the SEC’s eighth-leading rusher with 592 yards and 10 touchdowns, has not played since exiting the LSU game Oct. 19 when after aggravated a right ankle injury suffered two weeks earlier against Tennessee.

Two weeks ago, Pittman said he anticipated having Jackson back for the team’s final three games. The Razorbacks have games remaining against Texas, Louisiana Tech and Missouri.

“He's healthy, he's ready to go,” Pittman said during the SEC coaches teleconference.
