FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas running back Ja'Quinden Jackson is "very questionable" to play Saturday against Mississippi State, coach Sam Pittman said Monday.
Jackson has had trouble staying on the field in recent weeks while dealing with a right ankle injury. He left the game against LSU in the fourth quarter Saturday after a "tweak" to the same ankle.
Pittman said Arkansas will "saddle up Braylen Russell" to lead the running game. The true freshman has seen his workload increase with Jackson banged up and previous No. 2 back Rodney Hill out for the last two games.
