FAYETTEVILLE — Two tight ends, Ty Washington and Var'keyes Gumms, are no longer with the Arkansas football team, coach Sam Pittman said Monday.
Washington, a redshirt sophomore out of Georgia, had appeared in seven of Arkansas' eight games this season, including Saturday against Mississippi State, when he played one offensive snap.
He had 14 receptions for 212 yards and 4 touchdowns in his Arkansas career.
Gumms, a redshirt junior from Houston who transferred from North Texas before last season, played in five games this season. He had not appeared since the Razorbacks' win over Tennessee.
