FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas landed a familiar name as its new defensive backs coach.
Paul Rhoads, most recently head coach at Iowa State, was announced as the newest member of coach Bret Bielema’s staff Wednesday morning. He replaces Clay Jennings who left earlier this month to take the defensive backs coach job at Texas.
“Paul has had a long standing reputation as a great teacher and recruiter even prior to his years of experience as a coordinator and head coach,” Bielema said. “He instantly brings years of experience to our defensive staff room and has coached the secondary and defensive backs to the highest levels of success.
