Arkansas women's basketball assistant coach Christy Smith has accepted the head coaching position at Incarnate Word, according to SwishAppeal.com.
Smith, a former all-American at Arkansas, has been on the Razorbacks' staff for two years, serving as Jimmy Dykes' top assistant.
She came to Arkansas after three years as an assistant at Purdue and three years as the recruiting coordinator at Valparaiso.
Incarnate Word, a member of the Southland Conference, will officially announce the hire at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
A UA spokesperson did not immediately return an email asking for confirmation of the reports.
