FAYETTEVILLE — Coming off his historic performance at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, former Arkansas athlete Jarrion Lawson has been signed to Asics' largest endorsement deal ever for a male athlete, according to an ESPN report.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed in the report. Lawson told ESPN that the contract includes financial incentives such as bonuses for event wins.
Lawson won three individual national championships (long jump, 100 and 200 meters) at the NCAA outdoor meet earlier this month and was also part of the Razorbacks third-place 400 meter relay team.
